Diagnosed a major outdoor plumbing leak caused by a bent copper pipe and failed plumber’s tape repair near the backflow preventer. Replaced the damaged copper pipe by sweating in new fittings, reconnecting the backflow device, and securing the line to underground PVC—ensuring long-term leak-free performance for irrigation or sprinkler systems.
Don't believe the infomercials about tape that fixes everything, folks. Repair it properly the first time.
